Meet the Skipper
Love the Game Baseball was founded by Chris Manero in 2023. Manero has coached youth baseball for over two decades, and wants to share his passion for the game with others.
Since 2013, he has served as the head varsity baseball coach at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School in Plymouth Meeting, PA where has has amassed over 100 wins, led teams to league championships and district and state playoff appearances, and coached numerous athletes who have continued their careers at the collegiate level. Prior to that, he spent seven years with the program as an assistant coach. He coached American Legion baseball for five summers, and began his coaching career in 2002 as a Connie Mack Baseball coach in Towamencin Township, PA.
From the backyard diamonds on Rampart Lane as a kid to the summer nights at Citizens Bank Park watching the Phillies today, his love of the game continues to grow.
